Race description
Tara Ultra Trail 2026 is a mountain trail race held in Tara National Park, Bajina Bašta, on the first weekend of July. The race offers several distances suited to different fitness levels, from a vertical climb to an ultra-long 62 km course with significant elevation gain. The trails pass through hidden and scenic parts of Tara, giving runners an unforgettable nature experience and a challenge for body and mind. Alongside the races, an all-day outdoor festival and accompanying cultural events take place at the finish, creating a unique atmosphere for participants and visitors alike.

Additional information
Registration opens at midnight on January 1, 2026. Participants under 18 cannot take part in TUT 62, and children under 14 may run only when accompanied by a parent. An all-day outdoor festival and the Bašta Fest short film festival take place at the finish. The children’s race (ages 4–12) is free and adapted for the youngest competitors. Online registration opens on January 1, 2026, and the races include various distances and categories, with activities for all ages and ITRA points.
