Race description
The Vuk Karadžić Trails is a 25 km circular race with a total elevation gain of 1,000 metres. The course starts at Vuk’s Memorial House and winds through the shade of the centuries-old Monastery Forests, past forest streams and waterfalls, to the 13th-century Tronoša Monastery. It then passes through Mala Tronoša and Lisina to Zajača, from where the Monastery Candles Trail leads to Velika Bobija and the Miličin Konak ethnographic complex, before returning to Tršić and Vuk’s house, where the finish line is located. The race offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the region’s natural beauty and cultural and historical landmarks.
