Ovčar 2026

Kablar Skyrace is a mountain race held in the spectacular Ovčarsko-kablarske Gorge area, with start and finish in Ovčar Banja. The race is 22.4 km long with a cumulative ascent of 1600 meters, passing through wooded areas, technically demanding rock sections, and over two peaks of Kablara, offering runners challenges and beautiful panoramic views of the Western Morava River and surrounding mountains. This race is part of the national series of the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia and is intended for both experienced runners and recreational athletes who want to enjoy nature and test their abilities. The organizer is the Mountaineering Society "Kablar" Čačak, which this year celebrates 75 years of existence and guarantees good organization and safety during the race.

The race is certified and carries 1 ITRA point. The time limit is 4 hours for competitors of the PSS national series and 5 hours for others. Start and finish are at the Natural History Center in Ovčar Banja. The organizer provides good marking and safety on the trail. The route is certified, counts towards the PSS series, proper equipment is mandatory, and prizes are provided for the top finishers. The race is part of the national mountain running series and marks the 75th anniversary of PD "Kablar".
