Ovčar 2026

Kablar Skyrace is a mountain race held in the spectacular Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, starting and finishing in Ovčar Banja. The 22.4 km race, with 1,600 metres of cumulative elevation gain, runs through forested terrain, technically challenging rocky sections and over two Kablar peaks, offering runners a challenge and beautiful panoramic views of the West Morava River and the surrounding mountains. The race is part of the Mountaineering Association of Serbia’s national series and is intended for both experienced runners and recreational runners who want to enjoy nature and test their abilities. It is organised by the “Kablar” Mountaineering Club of Čačak, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and guarantees good organisation and safety during the race.

The race is certified and awards 1 ITRA point. The time limit is 4 hours for competitors in the Mountaineering Association of Serbia national series and 5 hours for others. The start and finish are at the Nature Centre in Ovčar Banja. The organiser provides clear course marking and safety on the route. The course is certified and counts toward the Mountaineering Association of Serbia series; appropriate equipment is mandatory, and prizes are provided for the top finishers. The race is part of the national mountain-running series and marks the 75th anniversary of the “Kablar” Mountaineering Club.
